Expanding Horizons: CCHS Family Medicine Residency Program
Building on its longstanding legacy of care, Christ Community Health Services is thrilled to announce the opening of a new chapter in its history—the launch of a Teaching Health Center Family Medicine Residency Program. This exciting development will enable CCHS to provide training for future family medicine professionals and further contribute to the healthcare landscape in Memphis.
The residency program is set to welcome its first cohort of residents in July 2026. CCHS received accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) in October 2024, a crucial step toward establishing this transformative initiative. The residency program will focus on providing comprehensive family medicine training, with a special emphasis on serving underserved populations and addressing health disparities in the community.
